Learn ASL: Explore Deaf Culture and Communication
A course that introduces the basics of American Sign Language in an encouraging, hands-on setting. Participants practice signs, expressions, and conversational skills while learning about Deaf culture. The class is designed to build confidence in communicating through signing with others who speak ASL and to support participation in our stake’s ASL ward, the Sunset Ward.
